“Change” is the name of the game at Sunday Scribblings.  Change is what I have observed of this tree in the last two weeks.  Late in posting this, poem has been in my head all week.

Yat-Yee is hosting Poetry Friday this week.

Blog the Vote

November 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”– John Quincy Adams

This has been an extraordinary election season.  The ups and downs, the intensity and the passion that many people feel is truly amazing.  I think it speaks to the above quote (which I used at the end of a recent post and felt it was a little lost.)

An idea sprung to life at the Second Annual Kidlitosphere Blogging Conference: “blog about your thoughts on voting”. Colleen at Chasing Ray has made a master list which can be viewed HERE

Do you have a thought about voting? Have you blogged about it?  Then let Colleen know. She will continue to update through Election Day.

V-O-T-E We are so fortunate to live in a country where we can vote.
