NaPoWriMo: “How To” Poem

How to Write a Poem

Rise before the dawn
Gather words
Succulent images
Aromatic ones which
Crinkle your nose
And return you
To shadow places
Found in the crevices
Of remembering
Throw the words
Into the
Calypso coral sky
Unexpected arrangement
Writing in early morning.

This is in response to the “how to” prompt at Read Write Poem.
