Back in January I was introduced to the “shadorma” form. This poetry form is six lines, unrhymed with a 3-5-3-3-7-5 syllable count for the lines.
Today’s prompt at Poetic Asides, is to write a poem with TMI (too much information). It reminded me of last summer. I was at the coast with my book club and we were out to dinner. The shadorma just felt like a good form for this poem.

Spaghetti served. Strangers eat.
We talk books.
Love it. I especially like that spills, shouts, threats are on the same line… it’s full of feeling and movement
