Aack!  It’s been a week.  Potential significant changes in my job for next year and late nights, posting the daily poems takes a back seat.

Spring, why are you difficult
Spring, is it the wild growing season
that causes the emotions and feelings to
blossom with such intensity?
Spring, is it the frantic frenzy to
finish the year, plant those
seeds in time for the harvest?
Spring, we need to slow it down
a bit

 walk, drive a hybrid
to assuage carbon footprint
celebrate earth day

Exhaustion

week ends
deadlines, late meetings, and “to do” lists
run until there’s no more gas
the weekend
a time to rest and relax

begin again
