Maybe tomorrow

I will laugh a bit more
swing as high as I can
at recess
dance the salsa while
teaching haiku
to second graders

Maybe tomorrow

second graders
will teach me haiku
and dance the salsa
at recess while
swinging as high
as they can
and laughing aloud
