Poetry Friday: Days 7-11 of the PAD Challenge

It’s been a week to have my journal with me to write everyday. It’s those observations of the daily that makes for good writing.

Tuesday, November 8:

early morning fog
tendrils caress the river
geese fly overhead

Wednesday, November 9

the beaver’s full moon
wears an ice ring halo, an
early snow promise

November 11

star-spangled parades
honors those who protect us
Veteran’s Day

The beaver’s full moon – I’ve never heard the moon described like that before. I like it.
