SOL: Rain

We have had a dry winter. Even wildfires popped up last week. Weird for winter. The rain prompted me.

Rain returned
with afternoon tea.
Her open
book on lap,
she sipped green tea in silence.
Her garden thirsted.

This is what I have for today ( which is now Wednesday morning) I was stuck.

  1. Linda Baie says:

And on your birthday, a gift of rain? We need it too-our snow is so light we can sweep it from the sidewalks!

  2. I like it. It sounds finished to me.
