I love participating in the poetry challenges.

My Little Juicy Universe has a challenge for March featuring CH words.  Today’s word is ARCH.

Today’s Little Ditty is featuring the tanka form for March.

So here’s my attempt for both challenges.  The blackberries are my nightmare.

  1. Love that last line, Jone! I had a serious battle with some rangy lantana just last weekend. Next, the dreaded side yard… will the war never end?

Michelle, you’ve no idea about the dreaded side yard or as I call it “out of sight, out of mind years” Goodluck.

This is a fun poem to read, Jone. I tried my first tanka for Michelle Barnes’s ditty challenge and hope to try another. Yesterday, I ended my week of writing for Heidi’s challenge with my Impressive Arch poem about a beautiful site in Brooklyn, NY.

Go for it! Trimming shears are signs of Spring!
