SOLSC 15 Day 20: First Day of Spring

Thanks to the people at Two Writing Teachers for providing a place for sharing our slices.

The word for today at My Juicy Little Universe is HATCH.  Perfect word for the first dy of spring.

I like this form,  Shadorma:  It’s six lines, un-rhymed with a 3-5-3-3-7-5 syllable count for the lines.

let spring hatch
let songbirds arrive
and wake us
by their song
let tulips bloom and frogs croak
love songs for us all.
