Found Poetry Object Challenge: Day 21

Day Twenty-one of Laura Shovan‘s  challenge?  How did that happen?  Wow.  I still have a few unfinished poems and it’s been great getting back to a writing routine.

Grandmother’s Machine

Her sewing machine
a time
of  spiritual contemplation

Her sewing machine
after
the household chores

Her sewing machine
creating
smocks, dresses, and aprons

Her sewing machine
rhythmic
like a rocking horse

Her sewing machine
quiet
now with secrets

Beautifully said, Jone. I see you got in the rocking horse image as well. The last lines bring me back to my past.
