NaPoWriMo Poetic Form Challenge 6/30: Word Wednesdays

2016 NaPoWriMo

Traveling yesterday with spotty internet.  For Word Wednesday, I’ll use a word I find during the week and you are invited to suggest a word.

Our first word is “making”  as suggested by David L. Harrison.  He features a Word of the Month on his blog.

The poetry form is called an arun. Thanks to a post at If You Want Kin, You Must Plant Kin.

Making a Fairy House

a walk
on the beach
search for round stones
polished by mermaids

throw them
back on shore
find broken shells
remnants of high tide

damp clay
like a ball
push in cup-like
and cut out window

shells, stones
sticks, detailed
garden fairy home
