NaPoWriMo Poetic Form Challenge 9/30: Shadorma Saturdays

2016 NaPoWriMo

It’s the second Saturday for the shadorma poetic form.  Last week I was at the Oregon Coast.  This week, I’m in Hagerman, ID with friends,  Not just any friends but a relationship that began in New Jersey in the early 1900’s with our grandmothers.  It was passed to their sons and now to the granddaughters.

When we are here, husband always makes either pizza or spaghetti.  This trip, spaghetti was on the menu.

spaghetti

spring break we
travel many miles
Chuck’s tasty
spaghetti
gather around the table
mangia! mangia! now

Note:  mangia is pronounced “man-ja”
