Sijo is a Korean poetic form older than haiku. The traditional for is three lines of 14-16 syllables in each line. The modern form is six lines of 7-8 syllables each.
spring morning, walk the sand dunes
cloud cover unravels to blue sky
wild strawberries bloom in the grass
vanilla fragrance scents the air
mixed in with sea salt air
yesterday’s moon on horizon
