shimmers on the lake
I’ll take a “news blackout” anytime for a “winter moon” . . . lovely, Jone.
Some days it feels like a “news blackout” is the only way to stay sane, but it seems so important to stay informed. Your haiku is beautiful. I love the word “shimmer.”
The tiny sliver of a moon right now looks like the barest glimpse of a smile in our early night sky.
