A found poem from The Mind of Aquarius

Joy

very ancient
jewel-like coloring
reflecting our own true colors
fast flight
dazzling aerial feats
of
light and joy
they show up
in times of change
and remind us
life is never quite the way it appears
so
allow your own light to shine forth.

  1. Donna Smith says:

Is that damsel on snow?? Must be fabric…. love your found poem.
    I’m in with a haiku!

    Damsel in Distress

    Blue eyes watching you
    My feet clinging prickly tight
    Praying I’m not prey.

Tag! You get to ruminate today!
The Progressive Poem has “anchored away!”

  2. A beautiful blue damsel and lovely poem. I always think the damselfly is more reverent, because it holds its wings in prayer position rather than akimbo like the dragonfly.
