SOL17: Currently Thankful

IMG_0785

Thank you to Two Writing Teachers for holding space for us to sharing our writing every Tuesday.  I saw this on a couple of blogs during the SOLSC challenge last March.

Currently

Reading: BROOKLYN by Colm Toibin.

Drinking: Water.

Planning: What I’m going to tomorrow: walk, make a dinner for a friend and her husband, and how else to spend the day before Thanksgiving.

Thinking: About driving up to Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge on Friday.  Hoping the weather will be perfect for photos.

Feeling: Great about getting a couple projects finished today.

Listening to: The TV, NCIS.

Loving: Being off for Thanksgiving week.

Looking forward to seeing dear friends on Thanksgiving as well as reading and working on a few decorating projects.

Enjoy the week

I like this format and have used it often. Wishing you good times with friends.

A whole week off–Wow! What a treat! It was fun to read about what you are doing and what you’re looking forward to. Friends, food, and a field trip–a perfect trifecta! Enjoy!

  3. One year we had the whole week of Thanksgiving off, and I loved it. Now we have Wednesday, Thursday, Friday off, and I’m pretty happy with that, too. Cooking the dinner for the first time in a long time. Hope I still have the knack.
