Much thanks to Two Writing Teachers for providing space to share our weekly slices.  This is such an incredible community.

I’ve missed a couple of days of haiku.

wrap presents
after the midnight hour
fire flickers
+++++++++++++++++++
icicles
words hung in the air
forgotten
++++++++++++++++++++
candles lit
carollers outside
she sips tea
+++++++++++++++++++++
freezing temps
pushing the grocery cart
to the camp
