SOL17: December 26 #haikuforhealing

Much thanks to Two Writing Teachers for providing space to share our weekly slices.  This is such an incredible community.

I’ve missed a couple of days of haiku.

wrap presents
after the midnight hour
fire flickers
words hung in the air
candles lit
carollers outside
she sips tea
freezing temps
pushing the grocery cart
to the camp
