Today from Two Sylvias Press, this prompt, “Just Dessert”:
Take the names of some desserts and write a poem using the names. Bonus if it’s a romantic real or imagined encounter.
summer berry grunt
tiny raspberry fools
pond pudding
orange buckle
treacle sponge
hobnobs
fat rascals
black bun
rhubarb mess
dead man’s leg
I used the bolded ones (and yes, change raspberry to Marion-berry for the photo). It’s a silly golden shovel style poem.
