Poetry Friday: National Poetry Month 20/30

POETRY FRIDAY

Thanks to Tabatha at The Opposite of Indifference for hosting Poetry Friday.

I have gotten behind on posting every day this week. Hit a wall. And then today someone announced we have forty days left of school. Forty days, people! I’m in a panic.

This haiku has been rolling around my brain for the last several days. Copy of 2017 NaPoWriMo

Savor your last 40! We only have 25. May will disappear in a blink.

Love the picture+poem! Love, love, love.

Super haiga, Jone! Love it. Good luck with the last 40 days!

  5. This is an amazing photo, Jone, and your words match perfectly. I’m always too busy watching birds to notice tree bark! Maybe I should lower my sights once in a while!

I discovered a heart shape in the recent past, but none as perfect, Jone. I love that you wrote about it, too.

  7. What a beautiful haiku.

Love this haiku, the witness tree. Did you make the PF image? I’ve been watching hummingbirds at my feeder. Can I steal the image to use? Please check out my post today with an invitation to a photo/ poetry exchange.
