SOL18: Travels Not School

I am thankful to Two Writing Teachers for creating a community to share writing. And they have joined Instagram. You can follow them @twowritingteachersblog or use the hashtag #TWTBlog.

It’s what I call Day 5 of retirement. (My retirement began in my mind when teachers returned to school 5 days ago)

Husband and I planned a late summer trip months ago. How strange to not be in a class setting after 44 years (62 yrs if you count my schooling, preK-college).

We hit the road in Idaho early this morning on our way to see friends outside of Salt Lake City.

From my car window this morning:

on the road

hazy memory

as fog lifts
