Poemtober: Day 1

Thanks to Rebecca at Sloth Reads, I heard about the #Poemtober2018 .  She has a very organized theme of scary things. I probably won’t be that organized.

I’m hoping to use this space for record poem beginnings as I adventure to the Highlights Poetry Workshop with Georgia Heard and Rebecca Kia Dotlich along with other adventures.

So to begin…

cool morning
sipping hot tea
the dog snores

I think your poem captures a perfect fall morning. Today was the first day that I walked outside and it felt like it was ever so slightly cooling off—but it was still 90 degrees. 🙂 Can’t wait to hear how your Highlights Workshop goes!

    Thank you, Dave.

    Hi Jone,

Thanks, as I enjoy being a part of your world.

Feels like rain clouds and more clouds… another sip of coffee

    Peace & gratitude,

    Dave
