SOLSC19 4/31: Kinders

It’s March and the Slice of Life Challenge. Thanks to Two Writing Teachers for providing space for writers.

Today I subbed in a kindergarten class. Oh my. So busy. So curious.

It went well. It’s a small class to start. With 6 gone, I was down to ten.

What I love about subbing is that I can show up and do my job. I don’t have all the baggage of teaching.

Today, a student told me he had a broken heart and was sneezing and needed to go to the health room.

I get to teach them tomorrow. My plan is to write some list poems with them.

Hooray me! Today marks my 1500th post!

Congratulations on 1500 posts! And on surviving a day in kindergarten! They are sooo funny! And great poets too!
