SOLSC19 28/30: My Day in Photos

It’s March and the Slice of Life Challenge. Thanks to Two Writing Teachers for providing space for writers.

Today I was up early to drive into downtown Portland for AWP19 (Association of Writer and Writing Programs) Conference.

I sort of knew it was big when I looked over the app. But wow!

Registration took an hour. This mad crazy line not line. We entered the registration room and wait for it…

More lines…like the airport!

I missed most of the first session I wanted to see.

If you love writing or are interested in getting an MFA, this is the place to be. Tons of writing programs and then tons of quarterly reviews, small presses, etc. It was dizzying!

I got to see Emily.

This conference sounds amazing, with the exception of the long lines! Would love to learn about writing programs and MFA’s. I wonder if they have one on the east coast…

Love the pic of you and Emily! Somehow I pictured her a bit taller.
