National Poetry Month: 6/30 German Pancake

Welcome to National Poetry Month (#npr2020). This month, I am sharing original poems about food and family. In these times of sheltering, food is comfort. A list of links to previous poems is HERE.

In college, we discovered The Original Pancake House. And it was there that I was. Introduced to the German Pancake or as they called it the Dutch Baby.
It wasn’t long before one of our crew found a recipe. I’ve made it for years. It’s a huge hit with the grands. Sometimes, I add apples and cinnamon when it’s baking. Delectable.eggy clouds

Can I come to your house for dinner, Jone? Yummy treat-both the photo and the poem. Yes, share the recipe.

Looks wonderful! Can you share a recipe? Your haiku says it all!
