A beautiful and sorrowful filled poem, birds can be so transforming.
I’m glad the eagles offered a gift on your hike in the midst of your sorrow. May you find peace.
Sad, but uplifting at the same time. Awe-filled and wonderful.
Finding calm in the midst of sorrow is something to be savored, Jone. Your poem shares a good message for all of us.
I hope you inhale every healing breath and sight. Peace to you too.
So hard for us left behind, but I love how you see the glory in the sky. (and in poetry)
Condolences, friend. I’m glad the eagles soared for you.
