Poetry Friday: Two Eagles

poetryfriday

Thanks to Mary Lee at A Year of Reading for hosting Poetry Friday, a place for poetry to shine.

two
bald
eagles
morning flight
over the canyon
sunlight glinted off the rapids
I hiked the narrow, rocky path
many tears but he was
cancer free
fully
at
peace
