SOLSC19 30/31: Saturday Shadorma

It’s March and the Slice of Life Challenge. Thanks to Two Writing Teachers for providing space for writers.

The Shadorma is a Spanish style form of poetry with a 3-5-3-3-7-5 syllable pattern.

Anyone who has officially submitted to magazines such as LADYBUG, CRICKET, and HIGH FIVE knows you wait a long time to hear back.

Sending these four poems today was a big step for me. My poetry has been published in the past. Using Submittable and sending a cover letter makes it feel way different.

The candle has been lit. Now I wait.
